I sent this card to my daughter back in 2003 during my last (and only) visit to Madagascar. It is a fascinating country to visit, but also sad in so many ways.

Madagascar, the fourth-largest island in the world, is a tropical paradise located off the coast of East Africa. With a unique blend of African, Asian, and European influences, Madagascar boasts a rich cultural heritage. The island is home to an astonishing array of flora and fauna, including lemurs, fossa (the island's top predator), and a variety of bird species.
